By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Nature of the site
thirdwayalignment.com is a personal website operated by John McClain. It shares the Third Way Alignment framework, the papers and book that develop it, and the JULIA Test, openly and at no charge, for reflection and critique. All content is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical, psychological, financial, or technical advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
3. Use of content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the materials on this site, including texts, documents, and media, were authored by and are the intellectual property of John McClain. They are shared freely for public use: you may read, share, cite, and build on them for personal, academic, or educational purposes, provided you give attribution. Citation is the only payment asked. Reproducing, selling, or redistributing substantial portions of this content for commercial purposes requires prior written permission.
4. The JULIA Test
The JULIA Test is a non-diagnostic self-reflection tool in alpha development. It has not undergone validation studies, its scoring is provisional, and its results carry no clinical or evaluative meaning. It must not be used for clinical, employment, or other consequential decisions about yourself or anyone else. It is offered for personal reflection only.
5. Feedback and critiques
If you send feedback, critique, or other material to the author, you represent that you own or control the rights to it and that it does not infringe the rights of others, and you grant the author a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to quote and respond to it, including publicly on this site, with attribution unless you request otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use this website or its content to violate any law or regulation, and you may not attempt to compromise the security or availability of the site.
